抄歌不是雷頌德的專利

最近從報紙上看到又有關雷頌德抄歌的報導, 大意是指他為古巨基作的歌曲 “錢錢錢錢” 旋律有抄襲 Queen 的經典歌曲 “Bohemian Rhapsody”之嫌. 我還未有幸聽過這首歌所以不作評論. 看到這篇報導, 令我不禁想起美國樂隊 Green Day 2004 年 American Idiot 大碟之中,當時備受爭議的第二首 Single – Boulevard of the broken dream

Oasis 樂隊靈魂人物 Noel Gallagher 指責這首歌的編曲部份是完全照抄他們的經典歌曲 “Wonderwall”

“If you listen, you’ll find it is exactly the same arrangement as “Wonderwall”. They should have the decency to wait until I am dead (before stealing my songs). I, at least, pay the people I steal from that courtesy.” – Noel Gallagher

由於旋律實在極之相似, 美國 DJ 兼監製 Party Ben 將 Wonderwall – Oasis, Writing to reach you – Travis, Dream on – Aerosmith 等歌混入 Boulevard of the broken dream 成為當時網上被廣泛流傳的 “Boulevard of the broken songs”, 以下是 youtube 網友自製的 MV :mrgreen:

  1. 我又唔覺得Boulevard of the broken dream咁似wonderwall，感覺上有少少似啦，因為都係果類style，所以幾首歌先夾得埋

    我覺得mix呢首歌既DJ簡直係高手，尤其是尾段搵dream on黎做ending，好match，仲正過原曲呀！XDD

  3. saur: 咁都叫少少似? Wonderwall 呢首歌我已經聽左 12 年, 我覺得”Boulevard of the broken dreams” 除左 Chorus 一段之外, 基本上結他旋律同 Wonderwall 有 90% 以上相似

    of course I won’t write something nasty on Brand New, I think they’re pretty good indeed.

    when you say 译曲, do you mean those songs which translated into another language? like “Dreams” of The Cranberries translated into “夢中人” of 王菲? I think it is not 抄襲 because the producers behind the song “夢中人” needed to pay the royalty fee in order to use the melody. However, what Mark Lui and Green Day have done is not the same.

  6. sorry，並非指法律上，岀得碟當然合法
    對于好似你般熱愛音樂嘅朋友嚟講，譯曲是否同等于抄襲？
    同樣嘅音符，chords，rhythm…不同嘅詞／編曲，你覺得ｌｅ？？
    純粹好奇，朋友亦問過我同一問題
    想知其他人點諗啫；）

  8. 又唔算抄襲既，只可以話係複製？XDD
    若果唱得唔差過原唱，就無乜所謂，但唱到走晒樣既就會反感
    同埋有誠意既，都係唱返原創歌好d

  10. 講開抄歌，周啟生當年將成首俄羅斯民歌”三套車”照搬，變做李黑人o既”希望”，俾人插到開花，呢首我阿爸果輩一定識得，抄都行遠d呀~~

    家陣tvb”碎肉瘋人”晚晚都播三套車，簡直係每一日都向周啟生兜把聲過去，真係諗下都想笑~~~ XDDD

  11. 三套車: 1993年﹐由周啟生作曲﹐李克勤作詞及主唱的“希望” ﹐由於部份旋律與三套車非常相似﹐而引來抄襲的非議﹐此曲收錄於李克勤“希望” 粵語專輯。
